Making A Difference In Your Personal Spending

Personal Budgeting

There isn't a financial institution or well runned household that doesn't use a budget.  Why? Because without a firm foundation of how much money you bring in and how much money goes out, you can lose control of spending and create debt without even knowing it.

If you are in debt or find yourself living from paycheck to paycheck, you have lost control of your financial interest.  Getting control back is easily and most successfully done with a good, sound personal budgeting. Without it you have no way of knowing how much money you have or how much money you have spent.

Chances are, you've reached this site because you're interested in financial success or perhaps you're finding it difficult to get there.

The cause?

You've lost control of our spending.  Not sure about that?  Then I ask you to take this challenge:  Keep track of "every cent" you spend for one month, it's a safe bet that you'll be surprised, even amazed at how much you spend on the little things each and every day and how those little things really add up.

It's NOT the amount of money you make that's the problem.  It's HOW you manage what you make.

Therefore you need to know how to manage your money so you can know when it is coming in and where it is going. The surest way to do this is with a personal budget.

Creating and sticking to a budget can do 3 things for you:

  1. Recover 10% of your income from hidden spending
  2. Eliminate existing debt
  3. Always know exactly how much you have left to spend, and how long it needs to last

Knowing exactly how much money comes into your household and what your expenditures are not only keeps you out of debt, it helps you save money and enjoy the things that are most important to you such as vacations, nice clothes, new cars, etc.  It's what personal budgets are all about.

Don't look at creating and sticking to a personal budget as putting on the handcuffs, instead, think of it as financial success. You'll learn to comfortably make your bill payments and have money left over for the things that you enjoy.

This web site is about helping individuals learn the importance of budgeting and good money management practices.  We'll provide you tips and ideas by offering valued money saving tips, articles for getting out of debt, saving for retirement, debt consolidation and improving your credit scores.  You'll also find out about spending pitfalls and the pros and cons of using credit.

DOES BUDGETING WORK?
Most People Spend 10% More Than They Make!
You probably know how much money you made last month, but do you know how much money you spent? Or do you know how much money you have left to spend this month? If you don't you're not alone, most people have no idea. The fact is most of us spend 10% more per month than we make. That comes out to $431 per month based on the average American income. No wonder the average credit card debt is now at $8,500!

A New Way To Manage Your Money
Traditionally, many people managed their money by dividing their cash into several paper envelopes. An envelope for food, entertainment, utilities etc. They then spent their money from these envelopes. They always knew how much money they had left, and how long it had to last. A new breakthrough in budgeting and spending management modernizes this same envelope concept using advanced computer technology.
